vs. Los Angeles Lakers, Dec. 19

Hill’s penchant for raising his game under the biggest moments and contests throughout his Bucks tenure continued on December 19 when the Bucks beat the Los Angeles Lakers 111-104.

It was the 33-year-old who really took the lead and helped the Bucks get out of their early skittishness and jitters in their showdown against the leading team in the West by hitting a pair of threes and breaking down the heart of the Lakers’ defense with the ball in his hands throughout the first half.

Hill continued putting the pressure on the Lakers’ big men as the veteran point guard bobbed and weaved his way to put down crafty finishes at the cup to give the Bucks the dynamic attack they needed, especially without starting guard Eric Bledsoe available for the night.

The IUPUI product went on to compile 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting (3-for-5 from three, 4-for-4 from the foul line), three rebounds, one assist, as well as one turnover, and was a +7 in over 27 minutes off the bench.

Once again, Hill set the table for a thrilling Bucks victory and especially when they were without one of their key pieces.
