Milwaukee Bucks: Khris Middleton’s 3 best games so far this season
January 11 at Portland Trail Blazers
There may have been no better example of the Bucks’ leading trio combining forces than back on January 11 in what ended up being a 122-101 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Middleton did his part to show out with a performance that’s been consistent with his entire run this year, even as he enjoyed greater performances such as his two scoring outbursts against the Wizards this season.
The veteran forward was simply automatic connecting shots from mid-range as multiple Portland defenders were constantly a step slow in trying to contest or alter his attempts from all levels of the floor. And as the Bucks’ offense flowed all night long against a porous Trail Blazers defense, Middleton, along with Bledsoe and Antetokounmpo, combined for 91 of Milwaukee’s 122 total points for the night.
Middleton went on to finish with 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting (4-of-4 from three, 4-for-4 from the free throw line), four rebounds, two assists and was a +16 in just over 28 minutes on the floor.
Whether the 2019-20 season can continue remains to be seen, but hopefully Middleton will be able to add to his wonderful year at some point in time, along with the Bucks as a whole.
