Milwaukee Bucks: Sterling Brown’s 3 best games so far this season
January 10 at Sacramento Kings
A 127-106 win over the Sacramento Kings back on January 10 looked to be business as usual for the Bucks, but it was anything but for a stretch of time early on in the second half.
As was the case in the Jazz game, Brown was called upon by Budenholzer to give the Bucks a spark not long after they had relinquished their once-sturdy lead to the Kings early in the third quarter.
That opportunity gave the chance for Brown to make his mark and he subsequently buried a pair of triples as the Bucks quickly rebounded throughout the third quarter and outscored Sacramento 27-15 from the 6:47 mark onwards.
What was more impressive was just how relentless Brown attacked the boards and helped the Bucks to win the possession battle. So much so that he achieved first career double-double while exclusively playing the second half of the Bucks’ 21-point win over the Kings.
All in all, Brown posted 11 points on 3-of-7 shooting (2-for-3 from deep, 3-for-3 from the foul line), 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and was a stunning +21 in over 18 minutes of burn.
