Mitchell  Robinson

In just his second season in the NBA, and playing for an all around terrible Knicks team, it’s very possible that Mitchell Robinson remains an unknown quantity for all but the NBA’s true diehard fans.

That seems unlikely to last for all that long in the bigger picture of his career, though, as Robinson has already demonstrated an unnatural ability to swat away large volumes of his opponent’s shot attempts.

Robinson has averaged just 21.8 minutes per game in the first couple of years of his life in the NBA, and yet his average of 2.2 blocks per contest puts right up there with the NBA’s true elite when it comes to protecting the rim.

Adjusted per 36 minutes, that leaves Robinson with an absurd 3.6 blocks for starter-esque minutes over his career to date. At 22, he’s clearly already one of the NBA’s best shot-blockers, but he may run away with the league’s crown in that regard sooner rather than later.
