Strengths

Starting it off, Stewart’s physical profile, at soon-to-be 19 years old, is incredibly impressive.

There’s no question Stewart is a little undersized at 6’9,” especially for someone who projects to be a 5 at the next level, but he’s incredibly chiseled at 250 pounds. Furthermore, Stewart possesses a 7’4″ wingspan, which boosts the Stretch Armstrong-like comparisons.

Stewart’s play with the Huskies certainly matched up well with the power and great physicality he possesses where he stood as the leading scorer, despite playing almost exclusively out of the post on offense.

While largely a below-the-rim finisher that can occasionally explode to the basket when given a runway, Stewart’s blend of ball skills, strength and length were incredibly ideal for him to get shots off on the block over opposing defenders and he possesses great hands when in great position to receive post entry passes.

Along with that, Stewart’s endless hustle and overall motor lent itself well to extending possessions and giving his Huskies team a shot in the arm with second chance or putback buckets. While it’s certainly an old-school style, Stewart’s efficiency (62.9 true shooting percentage) led to him standing out in a more positive light compared to teammate and another high-profile Huskies player, Jaden McDaniels.

Moving away from his scoring accomplishments, Stewart’s nose for the ball shines on both ends of the floor as he’s terrific boxing out and gobbling up misses from the opposition.
