Milwaukee Bucks: Building an all-time team around Giannis Antetokounmpo

Milwaukee Bucks’ all-time team built around Giannis Antetokounmpo: Khris Middleton – SF
Already Antetokounmpo’s longest tenured teammate, and by quite a distance, there’d be no reason to break up the tandem with Khris Middleton in this context either.
With his combination of size, skill, versatility, and the pair’s understanding, Middleton represents an exceptional fit alongside Giannis, and has made his own impressive strides forward as a player over their years together.
In a team that also includes Moncrief and Allen, the pressure on Middleton would be greatly reduced. Middleton’s ability to score, make plays, and grab rebounds would all remain invaluable, but he’d have every chance of doing those things under less scrutiny, and therefore with even greater efficiency.
Middleton has paved a path to being a two-time All-Star as the Bucks’ second best player alongside Giannis, but imagine how deadly he’d be as purely a supporting piece, and perhaps even something of an afterthought for opposing defenses?
Middleton’s legacy in the wider pantheon of greatest Bucks is continuing to build and, in this particular team, he’d seem like a better fit than some of Milwaukee’s other great wings who would likely need the ball more often to make an impact.
