Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in rescheduled Game 5 against Orlando Magic – Returning to action

After a hectic and, no doubt, draining few days where the Bucks’ historic actions off the court have dominated the headlines around the world, Milwaukee will certainly be in much more familiar territory as they take to the hardwood for their rescheduled Game 5 on Saturday afternoon.

That’s not to suggest that the return will act as a relief, as heavy hearts, hurt, and frustration will certainly still reign among Milwaukee’s players, and the rest of their NBA colleagues.

With all of that taken into account, the truth is the Bucks will have to carry significantly more emotional baggage than they’re accustomed to in Game 5.

Prior to tip-off, there’s simply no way of knowing how the Bucks will respond in a basketball sense, and just how easily they’ll find it to lock in and regain their focus.

The Bucks have shown plenty of mental strength and resolve over the course of the season, but this will be a different challenge. With all due respect to the Orlando Magic, the biggest obstacle in the way of a Bucks Game 5 win may well be a matter of just how well they can slip back into the positive mental space they were in before Wednesday’s walkout.
