Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in rescheduled Game 5 against Orlando Magic – A different kind of scrutiny

Having touched on the internal elements of the Bucks returning to action following the events of recent days, it’s also worth highlighting some of the external pressures that will be in place as they get back to playing basketball.

In spite of their near relentless winning over the past two regular seasons, and the fact they’re led by the soon-to-be back-to-back MVP, the Bucks will never have had the level of attention on them that they’ll have for Saturday’s Game 5.

On that front, the comparatively insulated environment of the NBA bubble will do Milwaukee significant favors even by simply just limiting the number of media members in attendance, and the sense of a very obviously glaring spotlight.

Still, the players themselves will undoubtedly understand the added attention and pressure that will be falling on them from the outside world, and will be determined to show they’re just as special as a group on the court as they are off of it.

That scrutiny will likely fall a little bit more keenly on the likes of George Hill and Sterling Brown too, who have both been at the center of the coverage around Milwaukee’s protest in recent days.

This is a very different pressure to what the Bucks have experienced before, and likely will again, but if they can come through it successfully, it may serve them well further down the road.
