Milwaukee Bucks: 5 shooting guards to target in free agency – E’Twaun Moore

Set to hit unrestricted free agency, E’Twaun Moore could be an under the radar player on the market, and the Milwaukee Bucks could use his talents.

Seeing his minutes per game decrease from 27.6 last season to 18.2 this season, E’Twaun Moore got caught up in the New Orleans’ Pelicans overhaul at the shooting guard position. With J.J. Redick, Jrue Holiday, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker all eating up minutes at the position alongside him, Moore frequently found himself as the odd man out. This predicament could lead to Moore seeking an expanded opportunity in free agency.

Although Moore is not the most highly decorated player, his area of expertise comes from behind the arc, where the guard has spent most of his career. Shooting 39.0 percent from distance over his ongoing nine-year career, Moore would be a significant addition for a Milwaukee team that needs high-end 3-point shooting surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo.

What E’Twaun Moore plans to do in free agency remains up in the air, but if he wants a contending team to utilize his services, the Milwaukee Bucks should take a flyer on him. In 56 games this season, the 31-year-old averaged 8.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 37.7 from behind the arc.
