Milwaukee Bucks Mock Draft Roundup: Who does ESPN have the Bucks taking?

With the 24th overall pick, ESPN’s Jonathan Givony and Mike Schmitz ($$) has the Bucks selecting Argentinian guard Leandro Bolmaro from Argentina.

As Givony goes on to list, Bolmaro’s size and defensive aptitude would do wonders within the Bucks’ first-ranked defensive unit. The fact that the 20-year-old is shaping up to be as gifted of a playmaker with the ball in his hands as he’s shown in his growing professional career is another asset in potentially selecting Bolmaro.

On the flip side, the biggest concern that Bolmaro has to master is developing his jump shot and the ability to space the floor. Being a 28.2 percent 3-point shooter between his stints with Estudiantes and Barcelona is far from a positive number to gleam from over his time on the court.

Given the fact that Bolmaro just re-upped with Barcelona for a contract that goes until 2023, he will very much be a draft-and-stash candidate and it’s fair to assume that some NBA buyout clause is included in the deal. So it’s very hard to imagine seeing Bolmaro in the NBA anytime soon, much less potentially in Milwaukee.
