5 wings for Milwaukee Bucks to target at 24th overall pick – Josh Green

If you’re looking for a prototypical 3-and-D wing late in the first round, Josh Green may be your man.

In his one-and-done campaign at the University of Arizona, Green showed off his role player skill set as well as his turbo-charged athleticism. While he does have to make further strides in becoming a more consistent and willing 3-point shooter, hitting 36.1 percent of his threes as a freshman is a solid base to build off going into the NBA.

Defensively, Green shines as a highly impactful, hard working defender who can really disrupt opposing offenses and ball handlers. And as alluded to before, the 19-year-old has the agility and athleticism to keep up and slot down to defend some of the more creative, athletic lead ball handlers around the league.

What you see with Green is what you get as there are no illusions to what kind of role he will have at the next level. While that defines the ceiling he has in his overall development, trying to find a potential rotation player, especially in the spot the Bucks stand in the draft, is the name of the game at this point.
