Milwaukee Bucks: 3 potential Eric Bledsoe trade scenarios – No. 2, Bucks roll the dice on Victor Oladipo

The Victor Oladipo trade speculation surrounding the Bucks has been alive and well for several weeks now, and as the aforementioned Lowe recently dropped a nugget on where the situation currently stands:

"“The Bucks are also eyeing Indiana’s Victor Oladipo, though no substantive talks with the Pacers have taken place, sources say. Other teams are monitoring the Oladipo situation, but several of them would like to see Oladipo in action before engaging Indiana, sources say.”"

Oladipo is a relatively affordable target for the Bucks, set to make an expiring $21 million next season before becoming an unrestricted free agent. However, teams are rightfully hesitant to engage in any legitimate talks revolving around the two-time All-Star, given the uncertainty surrounding the health of his ruptured quad tendon.

After suffering the injury in January of 2019, Oladipo has played just 23 total games and looked understandably rusty. Any team that makes a move for the guard will be taking an undeniable risk, but it certainly appears on the table for the Bucks.

With Oladipo’s trade value low right now, a two-time All-Defensive guard and a promising young wing could be a fair proposal for the Bucks to offer the Pacers. Whether an offer like that could gauge Indiana’s interest or not, it is a feasible offer to kick off any negotiations.
