A bounce-back game from Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Bucks defeated the Warriors by 39 points on Christmas Day, and surprisingly, Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled immensely. In 26 minutes, Antetokounmpo scored just 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting from the field and 7-of-15 shooting at the free-throw line.

While it was undoubtedly welcoming to see Middleton, Holiday, and DiVincenzo step up through Antetokounmpo’s struggles, the Bucks need a strong follow up from the MVP. Antetokounmpo is the engine that makes this team go, and if history has anything to say about it, he has a perfect chance to find his rhythm in this coming game against the Knicks.

Antetokounmpo has no shortage of memorable moments at Madison Square Garden, including a game-winning stepback jump shot at the buzzer to give the Bucks a 105-104 victory on January 4, 2017.

It was the first game-winning buzzer-beater of the Greek Freak’s career, but it is not his most enshrined moment at the Garden. Antetokounmpo topped that moment with his dunk heard around that world when he jumped over the 6’5″ Tim Hardaway Jr. on a slam dunk during a 103-89 win over the Knicks on February 6, 2018.

There is something about playing at MSG that makes Antetokounmpo must-see television when he arrives, and hopefully, this upcoming game is no exception.
