No. 2 – Khris Middleton

There was undoubtedly some controversy last season when Khris Middleton was snubbed for All-NBA honors despite the fantastic regular season he put together. With that chip on his shoulder, the two-time All-Star has been fantastic to start the season and is putting up some career-high numbers across the board at this stage.

Through 10 games, Middleton is averaging 22.7 points per game on a highly efficient .556/.509/.968 slash line. The forward has asserted himself as one of the best three-way scorers in the league today, and it has been on full display early on. While the scoring is not much of a surprise from Middleton, his role as a facilitator has stood out. Middleton currently leads the Bucks with 5.9 assists per game as he continues to make plays for others and himself on the offensive end.

This is the type of play that the Bucks will need from the forward if they will finally make a strong push towards the NBA Finals. Like the rest of the Bucks, Middleton struggled in the NBA restart last season, and he listened to all of the criticisms directed towards him specifically for another long offseason.

Many have questioned for years whether Middleton can legitimately be a true second option on a championship team, and he appears motivated to prove himself worthy.
