Donte DiVincenzo’s growth has been evident over the Milwaukee Bucks’ win streak.

While the Bucks’ tentpoles like Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton have propelled them over their win streak, Donte DiVincenzo has certainly kicked on in a big way as well.

Without question, the third-year guard’s best game as a pro came in the Bucks’ win over the Pelicans as he finished with a career-high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting (4-for-7 from three), nine assists, seven boards and a pair of steals in over 34-and-a-half minutes of action.

Now having hit double figures in four straight games, DiVincenzo has paired his aggressiveness with more efficiency from all levels of the floor and in various situations. DiVincenzo has continued to handle his do-it-all role with ease and the fact that he continues to make plays as a secondary playmaker has only reinforced his versatile role within the Bucks’ framework.

And on the other end, DiVincenzo’s whirling dervish defense remains as potent as ever, between his off-ball brilliance and his heady decision-making when the Bucks need it the most. His game-sealing charge against the Pelicans was certainly indicative of that.

As he continues coming along nicely in his overall development since coming to Milwaukee, DiVincenzo’s importance to the Bucks’ present and future only grows brighter.
