The verdict on who is the better trade target for the Milwaukee Bucks

With everything taken into account, both of these veterans could help the Milwaukee Bucks in the present, but P.J. Tucker should be the top target if it comes down to it.

Rumors continue to swirl that the Bucks are looking to shore up their defensive personnel, and Tucker fits the profile. The swingman’s versatile skill set on that side of the ball would be impactful alongside other top-tier defenders on this roster such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jrue Holiday, among others.

Particularly come playoff time, the Bucks would certainly welcome in a high-end defender like Tucker on the roster. With All-Star players like Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, Ben Simmons, and many more potentially standing in Milwaukee’s way of making the NBA Finals, a defender like Tucker could be a difference-maker to some degree.

During his three-year run with the Rockets, the forward has been a solid contributor to their postseason success. Making 40 playoff appearances with the club, Tucker has averaged 9.3 points while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and a much more desirable 43.2 percent from deep. Along with his defense, numbers like that could unquestionably be of use to Milwaukee in finally breaking through the immovable wall that has been the postseason.
