Milwaukee Bucks Rumors: Latest trade speculation leading up to deadline

Milwaukee Bucks have been linked to Nemanja Bjelica, but that pursuit has quieted
The Athletic’s Shams Charania ($$) reported earlier this month that the Bucks had some level of interest in acquiring 32-year-old sharpshooter Nemanja Bjelica. At the time, the interest was feasible because the team needed to shore up their depth in the frontcourt, and the veteran forward had been out of the rotation for the Sacramento Kings.
However, now it goes without saying that he is likely crossed off the Bucks’ list following their latest acquisition. Milwaukee’s trade for Tucker last week has provided them with that missing piece to bolster their frontcourt and making the need for Bjelica minimal, who still remains in Sacramento in the lead up to the deadline.
The Bucks now have a frontcourt rotation consisting of Antetokounmpo, Lopez, Portis, and Tucker, providing them with plenty of able bodies. While Bjelica’s hot shooting could be of use in the rotation, it’d be hard to envision the Bucks adding another big man.
Instead, their focus will likely shift towards the backcourt, where they are reportedly looking to add some depth to their second unit.
