Duncan Robinson could be a secret weapon used against the Milwaukee Bucks

Third-year forward Duncan Robinson has risen to elite status when it comes to 3-point shooting, which has proven troublesome for the Bucks in the past.

It is no secret that Milwaukee’s kryptonite throughout the Budenholzer has been opponents knocking down an abundance of 3-pointers. According to NBA.com/stats, the Bucks gave up the most 3-point makes among any team to their opponents this season at 14.8 per game. That could certainly be worrisome against this Miami team that is loaded with shooters, including one of the best in the association in Robinson.

That makes the 27-year-old a significant threat in the postseason as he is having a fantastic season from the perimeter by shooting 40.8 percent on 8.5 attempts per contest. He is by far the best shooter from distance on this Miami team, which could make him the ultimate X-factor for them in this series, depending on whether or not that shot is falling.

With the Bucks experimenting with schemes on the defensive end throughout the regular season, they must emphasize focusing on the perimeter to prevent shooters like Robinson from catching fire on the offensive end. That places extra weight on Khris Middleton’s shoulders defensively as he has primarily been Robinson’s defender in past matchups.
