How did the Miami Heat play in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks?

. . MIAMI HEAT. D. After Milwaukee dominated the competition with little resistance from the opening tip in the past two games, it was Miami that came out ready to play in this matchup. They quickly built up a lead and looked like the team with the edge at halftime, as evidenced by their aforementioned seven-point lead. They did a nice job of defending Giannis Antetokounmpo in that half, as the Greek Freak was indeed struggling to get his shots to drop. After 24 minutes, things were looking solid for Miami, despite the run that Milwaukee closed the half with to cut the deficit.
However, a resilient second half effort from the Bucks ended any thought that this game would extend beyond being a four-game set. A massive factor in this debacle was yet another lackluster outing from Miami’s Jimmy Butler. After struggling mightily to find any rhythm over the first three games, the Bucks ensured to keep that trend consistent as Butler finished Game 4 with 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting from the floor. Butler will be on the receiving end of criticism for his struggles all throughout the offseason. Yet, aside from Bam Adebayo, no other player on the Heat stood out as their trio of Duncan Robinson, Tyler Herro, and Goran Dragic combined to shoot just 11-for-29 from the floor. While credit can certainly go to Milwaukee’s top-notch rotation of defenders, these offensive issues for Miami were a massive issue throughout the entire series. It was initially a valiant effort, but they ultimately fell short.
