How did the Brooklyn Nets perform in Game 4 versus the Milwaukee Bucks?

D+. The Nets genuinely cannot catch a break in this series. They lost James Harden in Game 1 after just 43 seconds of action, and now they will potentially be without Kyrie Irving for an unknown amount of time. Irving suffered a gruesome ankle sprain in yesterday’s Game 4 when he landed on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s foot after playing for just 17 minutes. His status remains unknown for the remainder of the series. Quickly down two of their top three players, the Nets understandably struggled in Game 4. As previously mentioned, Kevin Durant was hounded by the physical-bodied P.J. Tucker all afternoon, to which he struggled mightily on the offensive end. Durant finished with 28 points on 9-of-25 shooting from the floor, including just 1-of-8 from 3-point territory. The forward got a lift from the charity stripe where he shot 9-of-10, but it could not help him get anything to drop consistently on the floor. Yet, the contributions were scarce elsewhere in the starting lineup as Joe Harris, Blake Griffin, and Bruce Brown combined to shoot just 9-for-21 from the floor. Between the abundance of missed shots and the final tally of 17 turnovers as a team, Brooklyn’s high-powered offense struggled to find their groove. Time will tell how they respond with the series shifting back to Brooklyn and which personnel they will have available.. . Opponent. BROOKLYN NETS
