The Milwaukee Bucks need another masterclass from their Big 3 against the Brooklyn Nets in Game 7

Facing elimination in Game 6, the Bucks’ leading trio willed this team to a much-needed victory by combining to score 89 of the team’s 114 total points.

Khris Middleton was the hero of the night as he scored a playoff career-high 38 points on an efficient 11-of-16 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-8 from deep. In addition to his scoring onslaught, the forward stuffed the stat sheet by tallying 10 rebounds, five assists, and five steals during his 42-and-a-half minutes of action. After an abysmal two-game stretch to begin this series in Brooklyn, Middleton has been in a nice groove over the past few games, and the Bucks could undoubtedly use another big night from him in this Game 7.

Right alongside him will be Giannis, who, as previously discussed, needs to continue his assertive approach in the paint. The Nets have had a challenging time stopping Antetokounmpo when he gets to his sweet spot, and he must look to take this game over. Simply put, he needs to play smart basketball and to his strengths. No outside jumpers, smart passes, and not letting the crowd get to him as they blitz him with 10-second chants at the free throw line are just a few mindful strategies.

Lastly, another Buck that was already discussed that must leave his mark on this game is Holiday. In addition to making smarter decisions when it comes to teeing up shots, the guard must make the right passes and the offensive end and find his teammates when the opportunities arise. That goes along with playing his reputable defense. Just like Giannis, dimming down the outside attempts in favor of working inside is far more favorable for him and this team.
