Milwaukee Bucks: 3 replacements if Bryn Forbes signs elsewhere
Avery Bradley could be a suitable replacement for the Milwaukee Bucks if Bryn Forbes leaves
This is far from an inspiring free agent, especially coming off the season that he had this season, but the Bucks have had reported interest in Avery Bradley before.
Whether Milwaukee would have interest in Bradley after the struggles he showed with both the Miami Heat and the Houston Rockets is certainly something to consider here. Bradley finished the year averaging 6.4 points on 32.7 percent shooting from three and a paltry 48.7 true shooting percentage as well as 2.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.8 steals across 27 appearances.
More concerning is that Bradley was bogged down by a calf injury that limited him to 10 appearances while in Miami before eventually getting dealt to the Rockets as part of the failed Victor Oladipo trade.
Despite all of that, Kelly Iko of The Athletic already noted that Bradley will be receiving interest from title contenders if and when the Rockets decline his $5.9 million team option ahead of free agency. With his ball hawking on defense still present, teams will surely hope Bradley can shoot to the degree that he did with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019-20 where he shot 36.4 percent from three.
Time will tell how the Bucks’ grand plans in free agency come together and as they look to defend their title next season.
