The Wisconsin Herd have posted the G-League’s second-highest points per game average behind Rayjon Tucker’s firepower

With plenty of players contributing on the offensive end, the Herd boast the second-highest rated offense in the entire G-League.

Tucker currently leads the Herd in points with an impressive 21.3 point per game average. Waters follows closely behind Tucker with 20.7 points. As discussed earlier, Waters has been one of the most impressive players on the Herd to start the season. Wenyen Gabriel has been an impressive player early on notching 16.3 points per game average on 52.8 percent shooting as he continues to turn heads. In every position, the Herd have had success in scoring.

Even more impressive, every player on the Herd has shot over 40 percent from the field. With numerous players above 50 percent, the Herd have proven to be one of the G-League’s best offenses. The Herd’s offensive successes has been important in securing the Eastern Conference’s best record, and those successes come at important times. With late surges in the fourth quarter in their last two games, Wisconsin was able to secure a 2-0 record on their road trip. As the Herd move forward, they should continue to be a threat on the offensive end. With players such as Tucker, Waters, and Gabriel, the Herd have plenty of reliable options on the offensive end.

Wisconsin has gotten hot at the right times, and its high-powered offense shows no signs of slowing down. Keep an eye out for Tucker, Waters, and Gabriel to continue providing excellent offense as the Herd goes deeper into the 2021-22 season, as this group looks like they could become a legitimate Big 3.
