Will the Milwaukee Bucks be able to start putting away opponents like the Orlando Magic?

We haven’t seen a ton of nice, comfortable, blowout wins from the Bucks this season, have we? Of course, there was opening night against the Brooklyn Nets and then against the Detroit Pistons, but they haven’t been plentiful.

Naturally, that is due to the slew of injuries the Bucks have faced so it has been difficult to put away teams like the shorthanded Philadelphia 76ers but those are the types of wins they should be expecting on this homestand against bad teams (no disrespect Magic and Pistons fans).

It’s a great and easy way to build confidence and also get extra rest in games where you’re up by enough and can rest the stars for extended minutes. There’s no need to panic if the Bucks aren’t blowing out some of the lower-tier teams in the league, a win is a win, but it’s nice to get those big wins over lesser competition.

The Bucks’ average margin of victory this season is around 14 points, which is better than you’d expect but they allowed teams like the Sixers, San Antonio Spurs, and Indiana Pacers to hang around in those games before taking control later on.

Antetokounmpo talked about how the Bucks need to start finishing games when they’re up by double digits like they were against the Los Angeles Lakers, and not letting their opponents get back into games.

Once we start seeing the Bucks taking care of business with big wire-to-wire wins against the lesser competition, then we’ll know they’re officially back.
