One of the Milwaukee Bucks’ best lineups: Hill/Holiday/Allen/Antetokounmpo/Portis

Same four guys as the last two but this time adding in George Hill and this is one I wanted to highlight because of the double point guard look that the Bucks get with this group.

One of the benefits to signing Hill this offseason was that he would be able to play alongside Holiday on the court since they both have experience as on-ball and off-ball guards. It has worked, as evidenced by this group which has played the second-most minutes of any Bucks lineup and has posted a solid plus-5.1 net rating.

Speaking about Hill and Holiday, in particular, lineups with both guards have played to a plus-19.6 net rating in 265 possessions per Cleaning the Glass (subscription required).

This was one of the combinations I was most looking forward to before the season and they have not disappointed. It will be interesting to see how Budenholzer uses this two-guard look throughout the season and into the playoffs.

Last postseason it was a struggle to get consistent ball handling without a trustworthy backup and not having DiVincenzo available. This group checks all the boxes for rebounding, playmaking, defense, and spacing so you should see this one used more and more throughout the season.
