Can the Milwaukee Bucks pick up a win on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s birthday?

Happy birthday, Giannis! Your present is calf soreness and a basketball game against a pesky Cavaliers team that will make life difficult for you in the paint! I hope you like it!

In all seriousness (or as serious as this can be), the Bucks will be playing only the fourth game on Antetokounmpo’s birthday since he came into the league. Fun fact, the Bucks are 3-0 when playing on December 6th since Antetokounmpo came into the league, so it must be good luck!

Whether or not he plays, I’m sure there will be some sort of video for Antetokounmpo on the jumbotron at Fiserv Forum to celebrate the special day. The two-time MVP turns 27 today, which is incredible when you consider all of the accolades he has amassed to this point in his career.

We have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to Antetokounmpo, beyond simply being able to watch a future all-time great play basketball on a semi-regular basis for a few months every year.

This is beyond the game tonight, but Antetokounmpo has given Bucks fans so much to cheer for even outside of the championship. He is a joy on and off the court, from his thunderous dunks to his wholesome interview moments, Antetokounmpo is a special person and I’m sure the fans in the arena will make sure to let their appreciation be known when they wish him a happy birthday.

The last time the Bucks played on December 6th, it was against the Los Angeles Clippers when they ran them off the floor in a 119-91 rout. The Cavs will be tired on the second night of a back-to-back so the stage is set for another Giannis birthday blowout and going 4-0 on his birthday.

If Antetokounmpo doesn’t play, it’ll be up to his teammates to not spoil his big day. If the game against the Heat was any indication, they should have no trouble getting up for the challenge.
