3 Milwaukee Bucks trade packages that could be enticing

As we start to go into trade season, there has been a fierce debate between Milwaukee Bucks fans on who should and should not be moved. Some fans are enticed by the idea of moving guard Donte DiVincenzo for a larger position of need, while others would like to see center Brook Lopez moved for a player who can help right now. On the other hand, fans have also debated that the Bucks are fine as they are and don’t need help in the form of a trade. Regardless of what fans think, Jon Horst has some major roster decisions coming up. Here are three enticing trade packages that the Bucks should entertain as we move closer to the February trade deadline.

Trade No. 1 – The Milwaukee Bucks get more versatile with Larry Nance Jr.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been inching ever so slightly towards a rebuild for years now, and with Damian Lillard trade rumors flying left and right, and a 13-19 start to the season, this might finally be the time the Blazers pull the trigger. One player that assuredly would become available in said scenario is Larry Nance Jr., a player who adds immense value on the defensive end of the floor. In this potential trade, the Bucks send salary filler in the form of Brook Lopez and his $13 million contract, which has been featured in some other recent trades proposals, but the true centerpiece of the trade for Portland would be wing Jordan Nwora.

Nwora has shown flashes in his young career, and especially lately, has gotten a chance to show it with the recent COVID outbreak in Milwaukee. Nwora recently opened eyes around the league with a 28 point 11 rebound effort against Cleveland, and if Portland goes into rebuild mode, he would absolutely be an intriguing young building block. On the Bucks’ side of this deal, acquiring Nance would make the defensive versatility on Milwaukee that much better.

Nance has shown an ability to play both the four and five on Portland, splitting time between the two positions. This would be very helpful for Milwaukee, as the Bucks would have multiple options for the Antetokounmpo at center lineups. If you want floor spacing and overall offensive skill, you could opt for Bobby Portis. If you want someone to play the passing lanes and be a more versatile defensive asset, you would go with Nance. Although a throw-in in this deal, Ben McLemore could also be a good addition to this Bucks team with his 42.5 percent 3-point shooting this season.
