Milwaukee Bucks’ to-do list leading up to 2022 NBA trade deadline

Milwaukee Bucks’ 2022 NBA trade deadline to-do list: Gauge trade interest in both Donte DiVincenzo and Jordan Nwora
If the Bucks plan on making any sizeable trades before the deadline, DiVincenzo and Nwora are the two players that will likely be the most desirable assets for opposing teams.
The front office should do their due diligence on the value of both players across the league to see what they could get in return in any deal. Both DiVincenzo and Nwora are expendable leading up to the trade deadline. With Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, and Wesley Matthews eating up most of the time, the minutes for these two are not there. If the Bucks could swap either or both for an impact player, particularly in the frontcourt, it would be worth pursuing.
Although both players have struggled to some degree this season, the desire is there for opposing teams. DiVincenzo is still young at 25-years-old, and Nwora has hardly scratched the surface of his potential at 23, meaning both could be good pieces for teams looking to build for the future. For those teams, they could lock up DiVincenzo long-term as he is set to become a restricted free agent after the season, while Nwora has a qualifying offer worth $2 million. Both players have the potential to turn into something special with a more prominent role, which is something they just will not be seeing with the Bucks.
The writing has been on the wall for months that the Bucks will not be keeping DiVincenzo after this season, and Nwora’s future is all but uncertain after this latest benching. If either player can be moved in the right deal, it should be considered rather than the Bucks potentially losing them for nothing once the season concludes.
Stay tuned for any Milwaukee Bucks updates and rumors leading up to February 10.
