Giannis Antetokounmpo clocked in an incredibly efficient all-around outing for the Milwaukee Bucks

It is crazy how most of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s nightly stat lines have become routine for him, as his line of 28 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and a steal in 30 minutes against LA was simply flat-out incredible. While he was impressive all-around for the Bucks, one thing that stood out from the Greek Freak last night was his efficiency on the offensive end.

En route to his 28 points, Antetokounmpo shot an efficient 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) from the floor, including 2-of-3 (66.7 percent) from 3-point range. His jumper has looked fantastic over the last two games, particularly from long distance, where Antetokounmpo shot an impressive 6-of-10. Everyone always says that Antetokounmpo could truly be unstoppable if he starts hitting those jumpers with consistency, and last night’s game was full of promising signs as he hit threes and mid-range jumpers.

Perhaps the most promising part of Antetokounmpo’s great performance was his effort at the free throw line, where he shot an impressive 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) in the game. Foul shooting has always been a prominent weakness for the two-time MVP, but games like this show that he is indeed improving. That shortened free throw routine has truly worked wonders for him as Giannis is now shooting 72.5 percent from the line, his highest in three years. There is still plenty of room for improvement yet, but Antetokounmpo continues taking the right steps.
