The verdict in Bleacher Report’s Mike Muscala trade for Milwaukee Bucks

Despite Muscala’s lingering stress injury, the Bucks should make this move if it is possibly on the table before the deadline. Hood and Ojeleye have not been in the regular rotation for weeks now, and moving them for a player that could come in a play a role immediately would be wise. Adding the second round pick is also feasible, as this would be a move to help Milwaukee win now.

The Bucks would also be incredibly wise to add another center as an insurance policy as they keep their fingers crossed with hope that Lopez will indeed this season. With no timetable given on any return date just yet, it is clear that the Bucks will not rush this process. If something unforeseen happens and Lopez cannot return, having a quality backup center like Muscala on the roster would be a sigh of relief as the champs look to defend their title when the postseason comes.

Milwaukee has a nice backup right now in Greg Monroe, but he is only on a 10-day deal, and if the DeMarcus Cousins debacle says anything, it is that Monroe will likely not be around for the rest of the season. Adding a piece like Muscala that is under contract would be justifiable, especially if they get him for two non-rotational players and a second round draft pick.

All in all, the Bucks should be all-in on Muscala if this is the proposal.
