5 most anticipated Milwaukee Bucks games down the stretch: March 6th, vs. Phoenix Suns

This obviously doesn’t have standing implications, but it’s a game that many will have circled on their respective calendars nonetheless.

The first Finals rematch didn’t go as the Bucks had planned, getting smoked in Phoenix at the end of a road trip, but this will be a chance for a bit of in-season revenge. Milwaukee is 1-6 against Phoenix over the last three regular seasons, so they’ve had their struggles against the runner’s up from last year.

After dominating them in the Finals, Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled in their game on February 10th with 18 points on 44.6 percent true shooting but did add seven rebounds and eight assists. The 18 points snapped a streak of 20 games with 25 or more points and was his fifth-lowest point total this season.

I don’t expect Antetokounmpo to struggle again given his performances against the Suns in the Finals and it not being the end of a tough road trip. That being said, the Suns have been the best team by record in the league basically all season and will, once again, want to prove that they are better than the team that beat them in the Finals.

It will be a great atmosphere at Fiserv Forum for this rematch between two of the league’s best teams as a little rivalry begins to develop between them.
