3 Milwaukee Bucks that must step up with Khris Middleton sidelined

Jrue Holiday must step up for the Milwaukee Bucks after Khris Middleton’s injury in Round 1
One of the biggest question marks entering this series was whether or not Jrue Holiday would be able to find a groove offensively. The guard had his share of inconsistent performances during the playoffs last year, and that trend has carried over into this year with a pair of ugly games against the Bulls at Fiserv Forum.
Through two games, Holiday is averaging 15 points per contest while shooting 37.5 percent from the floor and 33.3 percent from behind the arc. He has failed to find any semblance of a rhythm in the early going, having struggled from deep, the mid-range, and even right at the hoop. On top of that, his ball-control has been troublesome as Holiday has totaled 10 turnovers in this series due to reckless passes and careless decisions with the basketball. It goes without saying that his ugly play on offense has hurt the Bucks, and they desperately need him to get things going with a key piece in Middleton sidelined.
The simple answer here is that Holiday needs to play better on the offensive end, which entails taking smarter shots while turning the basketball over less. After two sluggish games, Holiday must take a long look in the mirror and come out with something to prove in a pivotal Game 3 tonight. Holiday must assert himself from the opening tip by attacking offensively without committing the mistakes that have plagued him throughout these first two games. The Bucks need Holiday at his best, and time will tell if he is up for the task.
