Grayson Allen will be a player of interest in Milwaukee Bucks vs. Chicago Bulls Game 5
Grayson Allen has had a turbulent series to this point, with his play in Milwaukee and his play in Chicago being on complete opposite ends of the spectrum. During the first two games at home, Allen combined to score three points on an ugly 1-of-6 shooting, including 0-of-4 from distance. On the road, Allen totaled 49 points on 18-of-24 shooting, including a red-hot 11-of-14 from the perimeter as he stepped up mightily following Khris Middleton’s injury. After back-to-back games with at least 20 points, it will be interesting to see how Allen plays in his return to Fiserv Forum.
Similar to his previous two games, the key for Allen is to come out and play aggressively from the beginning of the game. As evidenced by the six shot attempts through the first two games in this series, Allen was not aggressive in those games. However, due to his prolific shooting and scoring ability, the guard is able to heat up in a hurry when he sees a few go down early. This is precisely what happened in Game 3 as Allen shot 3-of-3 from deep in the first quarter alone, which helped spark some momentum. The Bucks need him to come off the bench and provide a similar spark to help close out this first round series back at home.
After starting the first two games of the playoffs at home on the wrong foot, hopefully these last two games can help Allen flip the script tonight.
Be sure to catch Game 5 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls tonight at 6:30 p.m. CST on TNT.
