Predicting where each of the Milwaukee Bucks’ impending free agents will land: Jordan Nwora – Milwaukee Bucks

Jordan Nwora is another tricky player to assess heading into the offseason. The forward has failed to carve out a consistent role for himself with the veteran-oriented Milwaukee Bucks over his first two seasons, oftentimes being nothing more than a spectator on the sidelines. Nwora will have an intriguing qualifying offer worth $2 million this offseason, and although many would argue that he should look for a change of scenery to finally unearth some of his potential, it would not be overly shocking to see him back with the Bucks for one more season. Considering that he has not been a consistent contributor over his first two seasons, Nwora should look to run it back with the Bucks once more to try and work his way into the rotation and make a name for himself to raise his value in free agency down the line. It is far from certain, but Nwora could very well be back in Milwaukee when next season begins with hopes of a bigger role in mind.

Predicting where each of the Milwaukee Bucks’ impending free agents will land: Jevon Carter – LA Clippers

Jevon Carter is a player that most Bucks fans would love to have back next season, but it does not seem too likely right now. As currently constructed, Carter would be the third-string point guard in Milwaukee heading into next season behind Jrue Holiday and George Hill. Carter showed during his brief time with the Bucks this past season that he was a far better backup than Hill, but given that Hill is set to be under contract with the team next season, the West Virginia product will likely look elsewhere for a more prominent opportunity. In that case, the LA Clippers could be the ideal place for him, given their potential need for a backup point guard and what he could provide on a nightly basis. The guard is known for his defensive intensity, which would make him a seamless fit with a robust group of defenders that include Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Robert Covington, among several others. He will also not command a lucrative contract, which would also help the Clippers address a current need on their star-studded roster.
