Milwaukee Bucks 2022 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Dalen Terry
Milwaukee Bucks Draft Scouting Report: Dalen Terry – Outlook
Dalen Terry is somewhat of a swiss army knife who can bring a lot of things to the table. He can handle the ball, be a playmaker, defend at a high level, and appears to have solid shooting ability. Because of this, the Bucks definitely should consider him if he is on the board at 24. Any player who can be a high level playmaker and defender is worth considering for the Bucks.
The issue with drafting Terry is that he doesn’t bring a ton of scoring and shot creation to the table, which the Bucks could be looking for right now. Very little about his half court scoring is proven, and his upside may be capped if he cannot score the ball at a very high level.
I personally would be happy if the Bucks drafted Terry. He can potentially be a “point wing” for the Bucks and fill some of their bench ball handling needs, and he also brings great defense and energy combined with some shooting. He can get out and run which should be fun to pair with an amazing transition player like Giannis, and I think he’d fit in nicely with the Bucks and give them immediate ball handling and defense off the bench.
Grade for Milwaukee Bucks: A-
Stay tuned to see where Terry falls on draft night.
