Takeaways from Milwaukee Bucks win vs Knicks: 7 Milwaukee players scored in double-figures

One of the areas to touch up through the first three games of the season was scoring and shooting from rotation players, it is safe to say that their production made things a heck of a lot easier for Milwaukee tonight. It was encouraging to see complementary performances from Jevon Carter and Grayson Allen, who both were relatively quiet to open up the season. Carter shot 5-of-13 from the field, and 4-of-11 from 3-point range. Carter has helped the Bucks play very good small ball on both ends of the floor.

Grayson Allen shot 6-of-10 from the field, and a much improved 4-of-6 from deep. With Grayson Allen some patience may be warranted as he spent his off-season working with Lethal Shooter, the shooting camp that worked with Bobby Portis when he came to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The entire starting five in addition to George Hill and Bobby Portis were able to score double figures tonight. Milwaukee shot 13-of-45 from three-point range, so that department could have been stronger, but to get four makes a piece from Carter and Allen was encouraging. 3-point shooting will improve when Milwaukee gets their players back from injury, but for now they could use some better shooting. The game plan will continue to be playing through Giannis and dishing out to 3-point shooters if the drive is not there, the Bucks have just been focused enough to be playing exceptional defense despite these offensive struggles.
