Trade No. 3 between the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks

This would be one of the worst trades the Milwaukee Bucks could make. However, it’s about the only one that fits financially for Milwaukee unless they wanted a younger player that hasn’t seen the court for New York in quite some time.

If the Knicks are that interested in Grayson Allen, we could see them try to get strange with the way they go after him. Still, trading Evan Fournier for Allen straight up wouldn’t make much sense for Milwaukee. Allen makes $10 million less and is the better player, so adding George Hill and Serge Ibaka, despite them not doing much for Milwaukee, would still not make much sense.

Fournier gets DNPs every other night, appearing in just 20 games this season. His 3-point shooting has fallen off a cliff at 31 percent. Some of that could be due to a lack of playing time, but, if he isn’t playing with the Knicks, why would the Bucks want him?

This trade would get an F if the Bucks ever thought about doing this. Outside of the Allen for Reddish straight-up trade, Milwaukee would be even crazier to take this one. General Manager Jon Horst is much smarter than making a trade like this.

It will be interesting to see if the Bucks and Knicks make a deal ahead of the trade deadline.
