The second Cam Reddish trade package between the Bucks and Knicks

Perhaps the Bucks like the idea of keeping George Hill around as a third-string point guard or want to keep him to use him in another trade. Either way, they could swap him out for Jordan Nwora in a trade for Cam Reddish and still get a deal done. Swapping out Hill’s $4 million salary with Nowra’s $2.8 million deal would cost the Bucks a bit more in a Reddish trade, but it is a feasible option.

Throughout his first three seasons with the Bucks, Nwora has never been able to carve out a role for himself. He has shown glimpses of potential, but nothing that has caught Mike Budenholzer’s eye enough to give him consistent minutes. Nwora is a likely trade candidate for the Bucks, and a deal like this would make a lot of sense if they were to move him before the deadline.

Perhaps the Knicks, who are bottom five in bench points per game this season, would like the idea of adding a young shot-creator like Nwora to their second unit. Given the inconsistent playing time he has received throughout his first three seasons, Nwora could also possibly benefit from a fresh start elsewhere where he may get actual minutes nightly. Again, the inclusion of Serge Ibaka also makes sense here due to his desire to be traded. The Knicks could also use another big man with Mitchell Robinson sidelined for the time being.
