The NBA trade deadline came and passed, and the Milwaukee Bucks made one of the quieter moves by acquiring their long-pursued target, Jae Crowder.

That said, we have reached the All-Star break, and Jae Crowder hasn’t suited up in a game yet for the Bucks. Additionally in the deal to acquire Crowder, George Hill, Jordan Nwora, and Serge Ibaka went to the Indiana Pacers. With those three removed from the equation and Jae Crowder added, the Milwaukee Bucks’ depth chart looks different. After the All-Star break when Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis are healthy and Jae Crowder is up to speed, the rotation will be quite different as well. What will the Bucks’ rotation look like?

The Milwaukee Bucks are a little thin at point guard after the trade deadline deal that sent George Hill to the Indiana Pacers. They currently have All-Star Jrue Holiday running the show and Jevon Carter, who scored 22 points in the Bucks’ first-half finale against the Chicago Bulls last Thursday, as the backup.

Carter is shooting 41.7 percent behind the 3-point line this season and has played in all 58 games to this point. In a pinch, the Bucks can always use Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, or Joe Ingles to bring the ball up the floor, so the need for the Bucks to scour the buyout market or free agent leftovers for a point guard isn’t super high.

At shooting guard, the Bucks are led by Grayson Allen, who, despite pretty consistent trade rumors, has been a very consistent piece for the team. Grayson Allen has the team’s third-highest 3-point percentage at 40.5 percent and has given the Bucks solid defense at the shooting guard position.

Also at shooting guard, the Bucks have a plethora of players all with different skill sets that Mike Budenholzer can employ at the two spot, including Wesley Matthews for defense, the Bucks leading 3-point shooter percentage-wise AJ Green, and the athletic rookie MarJon Beauchamp. Different rotations could also see Pat Connaughton or even Khris Middleton slide up to the shooting guard spot.
