With 22 games left to play in the regular season, the Milwaukee Bucks hold the top seed in the Eastern Conference, have the best record in the NBA, and are riding a 14-game winning streak.

With the return of Khris Middleton and the recent addition of Jae Crowder, the Bucks are looking as strong as ever as they approach the end of the regular season. With the trade deadline in the rearview mirror and the playoffs quickly approaching, there are three Milwaukee Bucks who have something to prove.

The reality of the Meyers Leonard pickup is that he might be gone this Friday. If the Bucks don’t sign him to another 10-day contract or sign him to a standard deal, then his time in the 414 may be coming to an end. With the events of the past few years, no matter what team Leonard plays on, he’s going to have something to prove.

Leonard played 15 minutes in the Bucks’ 128-99 win against the Miami Heat, posting five points, six rebounds, and one steal, knocking down a big 3-pointer and showing his size and hustle. He followed that up by scoring three points in five minutes in the Bucks’ 104-101 win against the Phoenix Suns.

With only two games left before his 10-day deal is up, it is crucial for Leonard to prove that he is worth keeping around. He’ll have two more chances to do this before March 3, when his deal expires, as the Bucks play the Nets tonight in Brooklyn and the Magic tomorrow in Milwaukee.
