3 Milwaukee Bucks with something to prove down the stretch in 2023 – Jae Crowder

Jae Crowder is already a Milwaukee legend and has only played two games for the Bucks. Crowder played two seasons at Marquette University from 2010-2012, averaging 14.6 points and helped bring the team to two consecutive Sweet 16 appearances.

Through two games, Crowder has played solid minutes off the bench, scoring nine points against the Heat and seven points against the Suns. Across those two games, Crowder has shot 4-of-5 from behind the arc and made his impact felt with a clutch fourth-quarter 3-pointer against the Suns.

With 3:49 remaining in the game, the Bucks were down five. After checking into the game against his former team, Crowder netted a three to cut the lead to two points. This set the Fiserv Forum on fire, as the Milwaukee legend helped spark a run that would end in the Bucks defeating the Suns 104-101.

Playing for the first time in nearly 10 months and with the regular season winding down, Crowder will have to prove that he can be reliable in the playoffs and earn his spot in the rotation. With the fans behind him after two solid performances already, look for Crowder to have a breakout game in the coming weeks.
