In the Milwaukee Bucks’ 118-11 win over Toronto on Sunday night, they had three starters score 20+ points. Brook Lopez led the way with 26 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo added 22 and Khris Middleton had 20.

Another key to the game was that Giannis had a triple-double with 13 rebounds and 10 assists to go along with his 22 points. It was his fourth triple-double this season (for the record, the Bucks are 4-0 when Giannis has a triple-double this season; the team is 29-4 in his career when he has had one of his 33 career triple-doubles).

But in what may have been one of the most amazing stats that night, Giannis was 9-for-9 from the field. He became the 10th player in NBA history to shoot 100 percent from the field in a game where he had a triple-double. (Note: One of the nine shots he took from the field was a made 3-pointer.)

It was the 14th time in NBA history that a player shot 100 percent from the field in a game where they had a triple-double. It was also the second time this season that a player had a triple-double and shot 100 percent from the field: On January 9, 2023, Denver’s Nikola Jokic had a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 16 assists while making all of his five shots from the field.

The triple-double with 100 percent shooting from the field was the second of Jokic’s career. He joins Draymond Green and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players to have a triple-double with a 100 percent field goal percentage in multiple games. Green did it twice in his career (twice in the 2015-16 season) and Wilt did it three times (once each in the 1965-66, 1966-67, and 1967-68 seasons).

Here are the 10 players who have had a triple-double where they did not miss a shot from the field that game: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Wilt Chamberlain, Draymond Green, Nikola Jokic, T.J. McConnell, Bo Outlaw, Evan Turner, Wes Unseld, Russell Westbrook, Robert Williams.

Giannis did, however, miss a few shots Sunday night: He went 3-for-7 from the free throw line. Of the 10 players listed above who reached these stats, only Jokic, Turner, Westbrook, and Unseld were also perfect from the free throw line in the game.

For the record, Giannis now has seven career triple-double games where he shot 70 percent or higher from the field. On February 3, 2021, he had a triple-double with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists with 7-for-8 shooting from the field. That was the only other time he made all but one shot in a triple-double contest. The 3-for-7 from the free throw line stat was the fourth time Giannis had a triple-double while shooting less than 50 percent from the charity stripe.
