3 Milwaukee Bucks that must step up with Grayson Allen injured – Joe Ingles

Having missed a lot of time at the start of the season, Australian veteran Joe Ingles has found his feet in Milwaukee and has provided great shooting and playmaking for the Bucks in the latter stages of the season.

Ingles is yet to start a game but has featured in 45, putting up seven points with three rebounds and three assists. His ability as a ball-handler and dictator allows other players to work off the ball to find space, relieving some of the pressure on players to be the main focal point of the offense. In his last three games, Ingles has scored six, nine, and 12 points, hitting nine of 16 threes (56 percent) in that time.

Across the season he is shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 41.3 percent from deep, which is beginning to ramp up as we head toward the postseason. Per The Athletic’s Eric Nehm, Ingles is shooting 52.7 percent from three since the beginning of March which is a staggering statistic.

The pick-and-roll game with Brook Lopez has become a staple during his time on the court and gives the Bucks a different dimension on offense.
