3 teams that could steal Brook Lopez from the Bucks this off-season
Following the Bucks’ devastating postseason loss to the Miami Heat, they enter an off-season full of questions. Not only do they have massive player options to worry about with Khris Middleton, but other key players like Brook Lopez are also set to hit the free-agent market.
While there is a very good chance that Milwaukee opts to retain the 35-year-old, the odds for Lopez to leave are still there, especially if he wishes to make more money as he enters the final stage of his career.
These three teams not only have the proper amount of cap space in order to sign Lopez, but they could also have a bigger chance to win it all if they add him to their roster. Here are three teams who very well could steal Brook Lopez from the Bucks this off-season.

3. Houston Rockets
Whether it be their signing of Ime Udoka, recent rumors surrounding their willingness to trade Jalen Green, or the fact that they are set to have around $64 million in cap space, it seems like the Rockets could go all in on contending by trading their young core away and signing stars this off-season.
If this becomes the case, they very well could target Lopez to be their defensive anchor, especially in the scenario where they bring James Harden back. Who knows if Lopez wants to play for a team like the Rockets, but they have an opportunity to throw him a big-time contract if they can’t find another star to add to their roster.
The turnaround Houston could make in just one off-season could be one of the craziest things to occur in NBA history. To go from being the worst team in the NBA to chasing a ring by signing stars and trading their young core would be incredible.
Obviously, the entire chance of Lopez signing there relies upon their willingness to jump back into contention. Who knows if this is actually their plan, but all signs are pointing to a hectic off-season for the city of Houston.
