A trade involving the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets

Another thing the Milwaukee Bucks have been missing is big wings. Finney-Smith and O’Neale are two guys that would fit in really well with Milwaukee. Acquiring these guys would add to the depth of the Bucks, as well as allow some lineup combinations that have been missing over the past few years. A lineup with Giannis at the five and either Finney-Smith or O’Neale at the four would do wonders.

These two players would create a lot of flexibility for Milwaukee on the defensive end, considering that they can guard multiple positions. Brook Lopez had a tremendous season this year, and his rebirth as an interior defender was one you don’t usually see. With that being said, it is pretty clear to see that from time to time, there are situations where Lopez cannot excel as a defender.

Having Portis off the bench adds an offensive and rebounding punch like no other, but like I said before, defense is a lost art in the NBA, and when you can have players that specialize in playing defense play alongside the players Milwaukee already has, the team would be better off. With new Head Coach Adrain Griffin being known as a defensive coach, a trade like this could kickstart the Bucks into one of the league’s top team defenses.
