The Milwaukee Bucks have been pretty quiet lately, and some fans believe it could be because the front office is looking at trade targets across the association.
That’s just speculation, but it would be surprising if the team did not make a trade of some kind in the coming months. This roster could use a few tweaks, primarily in the backcourt, where they are in need of a backup point guard behind All-Star guard Jrue Holiday. Sticking with the backcourt, the Bleacher Report NBA staff recently put together a trade package for every team in the league, and their deal for Milwaukee would see them add another veteran two-guard in Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Grade The Trade: Bucks add familiar target in this trade with the Hawks
Trying to land Bogdan Bogdanovic is nothing new for the Bucks. Of course, fans remember when the team tried trading for him in 2020 via a sign-and-trade. A deal seemed all but done, but it all fell through at the last minute. There has been plenty of speculation involving why exactly things never came to fruition back then, but the true clear-cut answer may never quite come to the light. Nearly three years later, Bleacher Report thinks the Bucks should reignite their previous interest. In this particular framework, the Bucks would acquire Bogdanovic in exchange for a pair of their key wings, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton, as well as a 2029 first rounder.
It’s an interesting suggestion, to say the least, so let’s break it down and give it a letter grade.
