The Milwaukee Bucks are still yet to make a trade this off-season, other than the draft night deal to go and add Andre Jackson Jr. in the second round. The NBA season is edging closer and there is very little noise coming out of the Bucks camp, suggesting they are content with the 15 man roster they currently have.

Last season Milwaukee finished as the one seed but the first round exit in the playoffs showed there are signs that improvements are still needed should they want to challenge for a title this coming season. Jimmy Butler was a real thorn in the side of the Bucks in the postseason, adding a defensive wing that can also provide quality offensively could real put Milwaukee a level above the rest.

The trade between the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors

This trade was proposed by fellow FanSided writer Tyler Watts for Behind the Buck Pass, where he looked at multiple trades the Bucks could make. As someone from England, Anunoby is someone I would love to add to the Bucks roster. He was born in London and is now an investor in the London Lions BBL team, so I am very invested in this idea.

This particular deal would see both Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton, along with the 2029 1st round pick, two 2nd round picks, and a couple of pick swaps in exchange for Anunoby. It is an interesting deal, to say the least with Anunoby having a player option for the 2024-25 season.

The Bucks need a wing that can guard the likes of Butler and Anunoby fits the mold to a tee. Let’s take a closer look at the deal and what it would mean for both teams.
