Milwaukee Bucks: MarJon Beauchamp

MarJon Beauchamp shouldn’t be involved in Buddy Hield trade talks for the Milwaukee Bucks

One of the Bucks’ premier assets right now is MarJon Beauchamp. The soon-to-be sophomore didn’t play a ton in his rookie season, but he flashed glimpses of potential when given a chance to play. Any team the Bucks try to trade with will likely inquire about Beauchamp’s availability, and in this case, the youngster should be off the table.

Hield is a great player and would be an excellent addition, but he’s not worth moving Beauchamp, especially since he’s on an expiring deal. Beauchamp has plenty of untapped potential, and it may cause an uproar amongst Bucks fans if he were moved in a deal like this. Now, if his name pops up in trade talks for a superstar like Damian Lillard, that would be a different story.

For Hield alone, Beauchamp should not even be brought up in discussions between the Bucks and Pacers. If they want to discuss the other three veterans in some capacity, that’s fine.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Milwaukee Bucks make a genuine run at Hield over the next several months and if any of these players get brought up in trade discussions.
