Reacting to Milwaukee Bucks hot takes

“Malik Beasley is more Valuable then Khris Middleton…” – @WeezyBaseball

No. While Malik Beasley should be a nice rotational piece for Milwaukee, he’s not more important or valuable than the third-best player on this squad. With so much attention being directed at the Big 2 of Antetokounmpo and Lillard, Middleton will have more room to operate on offense, so his contributions will be extremely important and could fuel one of his better seasons in recent years.

“Malik Beasley is really good and we actually have one of the best benches in the league” – @Yokai_Echo

Yes, Malik Beasley is quite good; no argument there. I do like what the Bucks have done with their bench brigade, as they are deeper than in previous seasons and have a good amount of versatility. On paper, they have a lot of talent, but before calling them one of the best, I need to see the group in action. If everyone clicks, I think this group could definitely surprise some people this season.

“MarJon [Beauchamp] averages 10ppg minimum” – @bucksinfour

I do think he is capable of averaging at least 10, but the biggest thing to keep an eye on is his consistency, as he struggled with that during his rookie season. That trend has been present in Summer League and early in the preseason as well, as sometimes he will look lethal, but other times he will struggle a ton. A bigger role in year two could help him find a groove. I’d love it.
