Is Damian Lillard playing today? Bucks, Bulls injury report for November 13
By Dalton Sell
After dropping two straight games, the Milwaukee Bucks will be back in action tonight as they host a Central Division rival, the Chicago Bulls.
The Bucks badly need a victory after falling short of comebacks in their last two, and getting some reinforcements would certainly help. Star point guard Damian Lillard has been out of the lineup for both of the team’s recent losses due to a calf injury. Will they get him back for tonight’s game? Let us take a look at the injury report.
Is Damian Lillard playing today? Bucks, Bulls injury report for November 13
Per the NBA’s latest injury report, Lillard is listed as probable. That means he will likely give it a go and make his return tonight. Obviously, that will be a huge boost for the Bucks, who have looked a bit disjointed without the floor general in the mix. Lillard’s return should give Milwaukee a lift on the offensive end.
While the Bucks will likely be getting one key player back, they will be losing another. Jae Crowder is listed as out with a left groin strain. He exited the team’s loss to the Orlando Magic early after suffering the injury. That’s a big blow for the Bucks, as Crowder has been one of the team’s most reliable reserves in the early going.
With Crowder out, keep an eye on MarJon Beauchamp and Andre Jackson Jr. to see a larger role for the Bucks. Both saw extended minutes against the Magic once Crowder left the contest, and they could get the same treatment against Chicago. This is an opportunity for the young wings to show whether or not they belong in the rotation.
Also out for the Bucks will be Chris Livingston, who suffered an ankle sprain in that loss, and the two-way tandem of Marques Bolden and TyTy Washington.
The Bulls have not yet submitted their injury report at the time of this writing. Alex Caruso missed Chicago’s Sunday matchup with the Detroit Pistons due to a toe injury, and his status remains up in the air for today’s game.
